KUROchan  KUROチャン

A yatai located along Showa-dori in Nakasu, Fukuoka. A yatai that gives you a sense of the glamorous Nakasu area. Operated by a single man. Charcoal-grilled chicken, tender pork ribs, leek balls, beef tongue, beef sagari, yakitori, ramen, yaki-ramen, etc. The owner is an excellent customer service and conversationalist. Some customers go to and from the glamorous downtown Nakasu area.

A single bone-in thigh of Itoshima's local chicken, grilled to perfection. The size of the chicken is too large to be eaten by one person. The chicken meat is chewy, and the skin has an even firmer texture. You can also add yuzu kosho (Japanese pepper with yuzu citrus) to the chicken. The soup is like a pork bone broth, and is riddled with pork belly cartilage. The amount of meat is large. The cartilage is tender. At first, the meat is dipped in ponzu (Japanese sauce made of soy sauce and citrus juice). The rest of the soup is not well seasoned, so I added the remaining ponzu and drank it.
