KENZO

Yatai located in Nakasu, Fukuoka, along Showa-dori, near Higashinakajima bridge. A wild type of food stall for men. A man runs the business by himself. Skewered and grilled dishes, oden (available only in winter), a la carte dishes, rice, noodles, hot pot, etc. The owner looks masculine but is a good conversationalist, amiable, and attentive. The menu is varied.

fried ramen

Stall:KENZO Food:fried ramen

Yakisoba-style yakisoba ramen. It comes on a hot griddle. The aroma of butter and the baby star caught my attention. The steam is amazing. It is a yakisoba type, but with a unique sweet sauce that I have never had before. The unique sweet sauce that makes meat, vegetables, and noodles taste good. ‼️ (2024/04/03)

decline in miso

Stall:KENZO Food:decline in miso

Miso flavored grilled part of beef called sagari. The beef is tender but has a nice texture. The savory miso flavor and the beef flavor mingle together. The cabbage with mayo is also delicious. Quite tasty. ‼️ (2024/04/01)

oden

Stall:KENZO Food:oden

Daikon radish, egg, and chikuwa. The broth is sweet with a strong hint of soy sauce. The inside of the egg was so well seasoned that its color changed. It seems to be available only in winter, so enjoy it only during the cold season. Delicious ‼️ (2024/03/30)

Tangles Ramen

Stall:KENZO Food:Tangles Ramen

Ramen noodles topped with a hot pot of cabbage, chives, and motsu-nabe (a hot pot of fish). The soup is sweet due to the motsu nabe. Too much for one person to eat. Sharing is recommended. Tastes good. ‼️ (09/21/2022)
